While we deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, people are still wondering what is going on with the Real Estate market. Just as with all other industries, we are having to take this day by day.
Before I get into any more details, I need to preface this message to say that we are in unprecedented times. While housing is still a need, we need to take precautions like never before. So, please, I urge you to heed all of the safety advice that is being distributed by the authorities, doctors, and people who are otherwise ACTUALLY ‘in the know’.
To sum up in five words: Real Estate is still happening. I took a quick glance on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) to see what has been happening in our area. These numbers haven’t been audited, but I feel that they are accurate, Here is the activity for the dates between Friday March 20, 2020 to Monday March 23, 2020.

So, in addition to the conversations I am having with people, the answer is “YES”. People are still out there actively engaged in the process of buying and selling homes.
