What is the best way to make sure you stay safe and healthy while marketing your home for sale?
The stay-at-home order has been lifted and the state reopening continues to move forward. Serious buyers never stopped looking for homes all along. With more people feeling comfortable venturing back out into the world, more buyers are likely to come out of the woodwork.
Things are starting to loosen up, but we’re still not in the clear.
If you previously had a goal of wanting to move, but put that on hold so you could see what was going to happen next, then what was going to happen next is happening now.
According to the most recently published data from the New Jersey Association of Realtors (April 2020), Single Home prices are up almost 15% in Somerset County and over 16% in Hunterdon County.
While the general population were busy hoarding toilet paper, people who wanted to move were also hoarding their houses. That’s why single home inventory in Hunterdon County was down 66% and 64% in Somerset County. What does all that mean? Buyers typically look at about 7 to 10 houses before they find one to purchase. That means in the current environment buyers have only been able to look at 5 or 6 houses. When there are less houses to pick from, they have to compete with each other.
Right now exists an environment that you can use to your advantage while at the same time not taking unfair advantage. My goal is to help you get the absolute best result possible while STILL remaining as safe as possible. I’ll give you three hints: VIRTUAL, VIRTUAL, VIRTUAL.
